About us

The Israel Softball Association (ISA) founded in 1979 and  it’s the body that controls organized Softball in Israel as it is recognized by the State of Israel to conduct and manage the country’s softball activities. The ISA is engaged in all regions of Israel and all sections of the population, striving to unite players, coaches, umpires and fans.

We welcome in open arms all people that are interested in our leagues, from youth to grownups, from beginners who’ve never held a bat to players with experience. A unique thing about softball, especially in Israel, is  the family type community and the common goal of having fun.

The ISA maintains continuous relations with public institutions in Israel: The Ministry of Culture and Sport, The Israel Olympic Committee, The “Ayelet” Federation of non-Olympic Sports, and local authorities.

The ISA is the qualified Israeli body for the management of all Softball National Teams and representatives in the international competitions of each category, Seniors and Youth. Within competitions organized by the European Softball Federation, the Israeli Men and Women National teams, including local clubs, are among the finest in Europe rising up the ladder in the past couple of years.

The Association works to develop international relations and maintains ongoing contact with the WBSC (World Baseball Softball Confederation), ESF (European Softball Federation), and various counterpart associations around the world.
