Phoenix Goes Up 1-0 In The Finals Series After A Tight Pitching Duel

Warriors stayed in it until the end, but Phoenix pulled away late in a 4-1 victory on Wednesday. The game was tied at one with Phoenix batting in the top of the fifth when Kfir Leon induced Alon Paz to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Phoenix got things started in the first inning. Leon’s wild pitch allowed one run to score for Phoenix.

In the bottom of the third inning, Warriors tied things up at one. K.Leon drove in Bar Shrem with an RBI single.

Seth Ross earned the win for Phoenix. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out six.

K.Leon took the loss for Warriors. The pitcher allowed four hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out nine.

Henry Gonzalez Mitrani, Shrem, and K.Leon each managed one hit to lead Warriors. Warriors was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Gil Alon had the most chances in the field with 11.

Paz went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Phoenix in hits. Phoenix was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Shlomi Mor Haim made the most plays with nine.
