Vets Finish Off The Season With A Win Over Mean Judeans
Mean Judeans stayed in it until the end, but Vets pulled away late in a 15-6 victory on Thursday. The game was tied at six with Vets batting in the top of the fifth when Robert Even drew a walk, scoring one run.
Mean Judeans got things moving in the first inning, when Ammikhi (Azai) Moore singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
Gefen Osishkin was credited with the victory for Vets. Osishkin allowed five hits and six runs over five innings, striking out seven.
Tabie Mercer took the loss for Mean Judeans. The hurler went one inning, allowing 11 runs on six hits and striking out one.
