Kfir of Warriors Shuts Out Sox
Kfir Leon had all the right stuff on Friday for Warriors, allowing zero runs and besting Sox by a score of 8-0
Warriors got things moving in the first inning, when Nadav Divone threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Warriors.
Warriors put up four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Warriors was led by Liam Forberg, Avi Segal, and Gideon Mehler, all knocking in runs in the inning.
One bright spot for Sox was a single by Yoni Schwartz in the fifth inning.
Leon got the win for Warriors. Leon surrendered zero runs on one hit over six innings, striking out six.
Divone took the loss for Sox. Divone went four innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out six.
Warriors tallied two home runs on the day. Forberg went for the long ball in the third inning. Segal went deep in the fifth inning.
Segal led Warriors with three hits in three at bats. Warriors didn’t commit a single error in the field. Gil Alon had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
Schwartz went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Sox in hits. Sox was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Naftali Schwartz had the most chances in the field with eight.
