Philip Stein’s Sox were founded 7 years ago and sponsored by Philip Stein CPA. Originally in the early 90’s, some of the team’s members played for Rise Hi,
Then played in the officially Neve Aliza softball club in both the ISA for several years, and then in the Jerusalem Post Softball league where Rise Hi won perennial championships over two decades. In addition, in the ISA, Rise Hi won the State Cup championship before it became the Fall Tournament.
In the last 7 years, the Sox played in the Jerusalem Post Softball league winning three straight championships. then rejoined the ISA with the help of Noam Zwilling and won the B Division Championship in two of the last 3 years.
At first, the heart of the team was the Harow Family from Neve Aliza. In the last decade, The Tover brothers and Schwartz brothers together form the main core of the team along with some of the best players from the Jerusalem Post Softball League, such as Ariel Gilor, Noam Markose, Tzvi Harow and Dani Harow.
